There are a few places that have them, but awc/fibersprots was the original ones (when it was awc) who made the bonnet with the bulge.

It is a full replacement bonnent, that can come in a few varieties, ranging from gel coated fiberglass, up to a clear coated carbon fibre.

I recently received mine, it is a gel coated fiberglass unit. It's listed price is 680, i then i got the struts which are 88, and it was 50 postage. But wayne gave it to me for 800. Now i've got to go get it painted.
The carbon fiber ones are 1500ish

Cheers

hmmm, tough choice. I'm faced with the same decision. I'm thinking to get some in silver that either say that (tickford) or AUfalcon.com. Or something else if someone can suggest something

Cheers

No one at present (that I am aware of) does a complete fibrglass high series bonnet. You can get the balge of ebay for around $150 delivered and get someone to fit it.

Only know 2 people who got the bulge moulded on to the bonnet but in both cases after a while it cracked and looked bad.Thats why I thought I would go the full unit and as well AWC reckon its under a third of the weight of a steel one.

they way i read the add was that up to 10 in the larger font is best, but for more than 10 a smaller font will be used.

Some of the random ones i've thought up
"BULGE"
"THIS IS RICE"
"BA BITS"
i'm not going to go any, but random/funny for me

Cheers

yeah, my amigo hasn't had a paintjob in sydney yet ( he only moved here a couple of years ago), but he mentioned something about paint wizard last night. It took you mentioning the name to kickstart my memory : we had a few beers last night.

Well my idea was to order the sticker like so, from the bloke on ebay who does them for 20 a pair on ebay,

The white would be the sticker colour, and the black would be clear section that ends up your car colour. I would then use coloured contact (white, red, black) to make the sticker like what i posted before.

I'm going to contact the ebay guy and see what he says about my design

Cheers

Got a quote from across town at Katoomba of 1500 to respray all my side skirts spray the bonnet and blend it in to the guards.
Went to the wizard and he seemed a lot more professional quoted 1200 and wants the car for a couple of hours on wednesday to dummy fit it to make sure it doesnt need any alteration before painting then he will book it in and said 2 days tops. There might be cheaper around but he came highly recommended as doing good work and seemed a nice bloke so I guess I'll dive in the deep end and go with them. Thanks for the input.Seems your only just around the corner if you want to check the work for future reference for yourself after its done let me know
