Default Warning - Bogus PM from Dodgy Photographer

Howdy All

A charming email as below was sent to a couple of members, obviously raised the odd eyebrow and when contacted you can see it was indeed a either a spam or a typical dodgy freelance photographer

If we could take a photo of you and your car( we are after cars that are pretty much standard on the outside) we will give you a copy for free. If you are interested pm your phone number and I will contact you.

When asked to provide details this was the reply

So ban my account, I don't need to be on your bogan website anymore.
Email Address this user used was brett@manhouse.net
The IP address indicated the user is in AUSTRALIA VICTORIA MELBOURNE

This opens an interesting discussion as to the merits of providing details to other than people you know, or have had been verified by the Admin team, there are always low life scum sucking leaches willing to scam you out of your possessions, be warned that they will try anything to do so.

I resent the implication, and dropped my ciggie into my vb which then spilt all over my flanno shirt. Who does this brett@manhouse.net think he is?
Why would anyone want manhouse in their email address?
Could Jenny really be Brett in drag, and is not looking for cars but men to photograph?

Maybe you might see your car up for sale on Ebay and you know nothing about it.

I had access to one. But I was working for a certain government organisation with those kind of toys...

Note there are private Australian companies with this kind of stuff as I've used there product first hand.

Reminds me of the one about somebody writing a book and wanting detailed pics and a list of mods etc...
But that was by PM
