Default EL XR6 vs AU XR6

Should my AU xr6 ute series 3 beat my mates El xr6 sedan. mine is stock as a rock. He has extractors and air filter.

your thoughts

nah both 5 sp

we had a bit of a drag the other week and he just beat me. not making excusses but my tray was full with my work tools. that makes it slower.

hehe, what if it doesn't beat it? That would suck heh? If you want a car that can beat most of the 'standard' cars on road, you should buy another car, because road Falcons where not made to race each other and win. They where made with other things in mind! You're ute can carry a **** load of stuff in the tray that an EL sedan driver would only wish. But at the same time, the sedan has more seats and can acompany more people...

I dunno, sorry if i'm coming along as a bit rude, but I just find it funny when people buy falcons, then ask if they can beat a certain car! You don't buy a falcon so you can beat another car in a race! Thats what FPV is for :

both cars are tickford they are suppose to be sports sedans/utes.

i think it all comes down to driver.

both being manuals... its all up to the driver... more the takeoff... but if both identical drivers then id say the ute...
