Default Custom Boot Install

Ok so i wanted to do something custom instead of just launching a sub and an amp in the boot and going, so i decided to conceal the sub and the amp so i still have boot space to store stuff. Let me know whatt you think, its my first time i have ever tryed anything like this. So be honest, thanks

Looks good. Do you have a cover for the sub for when you have shart objects in the boot?

Looks good man! When i get mine done properly i want the same thing but i want the sub facing inside and not being able to see it from when you open the boot. I like where the amp is it makes me wanna get mine re-mounted lol.

I like it, good work mate! It's a similar setup to what I have, but kinda reversed if that makes sense? :
My sub is firing into the cabin, so the amp is on display. I also have my mono in the same place as your amp, but under the trim so its hidden. It still gives usable boot space, just not as much.

Not 100% sure what mine is made of, as I had that built for me. I am too lazy and uncoordinated to build something like that myself! :
I am pretty sure its just regular plywood covered in felt though.

Thanks for all the feed back. its just carpet from Autobarn i think it was like $24.99 for 1m x 2m. other wise i just used MDF 3cm thick ( i think ) and cut it to the shape of the sub box, used a bracket to hold it in place and thats about it, not the hard to do really, cost me about $40 all up.

I dont have a cover to prtoect the subv not to sure what im going to do aabout that yet.. any idea were i can get a cover /grill for it ?

I used the Jaycar grille on my old setup in my old station wagon, worked a treat! They come with 4 brackets that you need to screw into the sub box itself around the speaker to hold the grille on. Easy as.

I think the camera has had a lot to do with the look of it! It does stand out a bit more in real life. The thing is, that carpeted bit is just a fake wall, is not actually part of the sub box itself. Its not even attached. It only stays in there as it was cut to be a tight fit. The wood itself is quite flexible, so it kinda bends and fits into place, and the shade makes it look like its part of the carpet.
Like I said, I had it made for me, so I am not sure exactly what the material is. The boys at Tower Audio in Oakleigh did it all for me if that helps.
