AU XR 8's were a cool car paid $32500 for a brand new one on Ford B plan
It was one car that I ditched and have regretted it ever since..replaced it with Black XR 6 auto with 18's leather and prem sound.......bit of an error there on my behalf

Sorry to go off topic here but there really is some pumpkins getting about.

If we didn't get an AU we would have gotten this:

Also without the AU we wouldn't have gotten the BA which means no XR6T.....

SO STOP YA BLOODY WHINGING!!!

Now back on topic, pretty sure I remember this car being sold again recently (6-12 months ago).

Also been in street fords too I think?

Yeh most AU's ive seen are ugly except NILE8R, crap thing was i flew down my my ex misses and took pictures of all things that were modified so i can send them 2 my engineer to see if they can get passed. A Couple hours after i viewed the car it was sold. I was like DAMN but didnt matter 2 much as i still had my EF XR8 with a sweet 400hp 347 stroker and c10.

Now since i sold my XR8 i want 2 track NIEL8R down and depending on price buy it

Just so you could fit in with the crowd. So you can be like every other bogan with a VT. Enough AU bashing or its holiday time

isnt the bloke entitled to his opinion.hardly an au bash.and you want to talk about people with a vt being a bogan.im no fan of the vt but the bloke should be entitled to have his opinion without the threat of a ban from an au owner.

FFS, how did we end up so far off topic? It is an AU, the thread is in relation to finding out where it is now NOT what it looks like and who does and doesn't like it. If this crap continues I will close the thread and start giving people some time out to think before they post.

And before someone PM's me and says Im only doing this because I own an AU. I can assure I honestly dont care what the general consensus of the AU's styling is. End of story.

People are just too thouchy these days. Everyone gets so defensive when others say the smallest thing they disagree with in regards to personal tatse or prefference, and in some cases IMO people get quoted out of context deliberately just so someone can take the opportunity for someone else to have a go at them.

With the amount of members we have on the forums, it's always going to mean that threads are generally bigger which means that they are more likely to digress. And with a digression off a topic, it usually brings a diverse range of opinions not directly related to the thread, but rather opinions about some aspect to do with what the thread is about.

Depending on the motives and or agenda of the members involved in a thread, you're generally going to find someone who has to post something negative which therefore leads to insuting and personal replies by other members. By that time Moderators and the like are forced to make threats of banning the locking threads.

I'm guilty of going off topic, but I'm just sick of threads turning to sh!t all the time. This forum is heading down the toilet in that regard, and to be quite honest it's quite sad. I think some moderators need to pull their head in a bit too. Lead by example, don't be a hypocrite by doing what you don't condone yourself. I think if we can all settle down a bit and just appreciate this place a bit more instead of getting our knickers in a knot all the time, we will all be better off!!!

I'm really sorry if this upsets you b2tf and anyone else out there but can I make a plead to everyone out there and don't turn this forum into a bitching forum like the commodore one. That one is full of big heads with big attitudes and pointless bitching that helps no one. I owned a ford but still have a holden and even though I no longer own a ford I still visit this site often cause it's a lot more welcoming than the holden one.
Sorry if I went back off the topic but I just wanted to get that off my chest.
