Will he require the Grill? as the bonnets are different from 1 to 2, accept ute and XR.

The front bars didn't change between low and high series anyway, so it wouldn't matter.

I recently put the AU2/3 Tickford body kit on my AU1 Fairmont Ghia V8. I can confirm the rear bar is the only change required, else the side skirts and front skirt fit straight on. SikaFlex as the bonding agent, original plastic bung holes used in wheel guards and small metal clips that just push on under the side skirts.

Palmerston North NZ.
Would prefer larger aftermarket alloys as well but the famdamily needs some money to keep it running to.
I found the whole lot on the interent, one private seller had the whole kit (front and rear bars included), XR8 springs, 5 x Tickford alloys with near new rubber (the 5th alloy was brand new - never been on the car). The lot was $1700.00 and I sold the alloys and rubber that came with my car for $600. I Also sold the original Tickford boot spoiler that came with the kit for $100 so really the lot only cost $1000. Right time, right place - just keep looking.
I never liked the original boot spolier the smooth lines of the AU get all broken up by that chunk of plastic that sits up, the small bootlip spoiler seems like a good compromise between full sized and nothing. Makes the car look funny from the rear I think. GlennAUII was the motivation for showing how good a "droopy" AU can look without the rear spoilers - http://www.aufalcon.com.au/cgi-bin/i...?act=item&i=23
Other than the Pics I've just added the AU2 grill (didn't like the chrome bar).
Some day the deep dish 19" alloys and the King superlows will happen, before that I'd prefer to get some headers (the factory ones are a prescription for automotive asthma).

If you are after a rear bar with skirt for cheap (it is a bit damaged) I know of one... :
