Question Wagon wiring questions

Theres a couple of plugs located under the rear seat of my wagon that i have been wondering about. I have a red with pink trace and purple with black trace on the driver side and a green with red and green with black on the passenger side. just wondering what these wires are for.
Also, i have no power to my cargo light has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it? and before anyone asks, yes, all fuses are fine, and the globe is new. i have tested the wiring for power and have found none. before i go pulling the interior apart to trace the wire i thought id ask here for ideas on what may have happened.
cheers guys
col

Is yours a Forte and does the Forte get rear speakers? The under seat wires wouldn't just be redundant speaker wires would they? I've had the back seat up on my Futura and didn't notice any wires.

i thought they may have been, and it is forte, but has speakers behind the seats. however the length from under the carpet is about 4 inches...so really not long enough for speakers. was there a sensor for the back seats in some models? but there is only the 2 looms, one either side, none in the middle.

what if it's redundant speaker wires for premium sound system that went into the fairmont wagon?.......I'm just guessing now of coarse cos I can't think of anything else that would have wires coming out there. AFAIK there were no electrics of any kind that run to the back seats unless maybe rear seatbelt pre tensioners perhaps?????
