AU Factory Alarm Upgrades?

hey all just found these "Factory Alarm Upgrade" (CAN BUS Certified - Certified for installation into Ford Falcon motor vehicles manufactured from 2000 onwards.)

i think the price is ok but not sure of what exactly it "Upgrades"? by the sound of it you still use the same remote and the factory immobilizer but adds a half decent alarm and shock sensors... is anyone using this or enquired about it? of have another kit that could be useful...? this is a list of features....

i just like the fact that it uses smartshield and doesnt need to be bypassed etc....

Wow, sounds like with all the optional extras and customisations it would be worth more than an AU

It says it has its own remote controls from what you posted.Can bus for newer cars not really applicable to our cars mate. The alarm appears to be independant of the smartshield and has anti ignition hotwiring..that phrase means nothing.Is it an immobiliser? Id be careful man.

not worth the $ to find out i think... Cheers Stav... just strange it says for 2000 and on falcon... stupid people no knowing there falcons... seems like theres to many ***'s and "Options"
