Default Fibreglass TS50 bodykit

I am chasing a front bumper for my AUII TE50.

Price for a newy through the local dealer is $1,908+gst! :

I'm thinking about one of those fibreglass T3 TS50 bars from ebay ($330 plus delivery) to get me back on the road while I wait for my financial health to return.

Any experiences out there with these bumpers? Good? Bad?

Any advice?

I had one on my AU. Never had an issue with quality. It remained well in shape. Thing I hated about mine was how easy it would get a stone chip. I assume it was most likely because of thin paint, if it had more coats, maybe it would have been harder.

Defiantly a good option to buy Glass until you can get a genuine one. At least it means you will be mobile again.

Just keep your eyes on FTG's section. They always report when the next lot of cars are coming in, so you might get lucky.

Thanks heaps for your help. I tracked that bumper down on Tuesday but it has been sold! :

I've been through ebay from stem to stern with no luck.

Don't worry, a f/glass T3 front is not my preference and I would still keep my eyes open for a genuine T2 TE50 for "stock". Plus I use my TE50 for track days and given the $$$$ involved I might be better off with a 'disposable' front. I'm in this mess beacuse of an "off" at PI in the wet last year. :togo:

BTW somebody on the T-Series formum suggested I contact you to see if you would sell your TS50 bodykit! :togo:
