Could anyone please tell me where I can find a transmission crossmember to suit an EA Falcon with a T5 (prior to 4 speed auto) on any other Falcon..
This is not the strait crossmember it goes across and then bends forward where it bolts on. I was wondering if maybe XF or something had the same one. |

The XF's fitted with a T5 had a crossmember that sounds like what you describe (I don't know if its the same, as I have never played underneath an EA).
I would have thought the the XF version would be rarer then an EA as it was unique to the T5 gearbox. Automatics, single rails, and sigma boxes in the XF used a straight crossmember |

on my 1966 XR i just had to weld a tag to back of crossmember with the two holes drilled for the T5 mount, very very simple mod you can do with an arc welder and drill and a 4" angle grinder with the 1mm cut off blade

Thanks for the help but the early EA Falcons must have had the type I am after as the rear crossmember support only changed when 4 speed auto came out. I will have a look at the XF one.
Does anyone have one of these. |
