Default FPV 2011, a hypothetical (yep another one).

FPV have just announced the FU series range and you are a bit keen to buy a sedan.

The range consists of:

GS, 310kw V8 with XR8ish bodykit, no bulge, no stripes and 18" wheels
F6, 320kw T6 with similar to current F6 b/k, no bulge or stripes, raccoon eyes 19" wheels
F6-E 320kw T6 low profile b/k no bulge/eyes, luxury interior, brembos, 19" wheels
GT, 330kw V8 with similar to current GT b/k with bulge, stripes, raccoon eyes 19" wheels
GT-P 330kw, same as GT but with 20" wheels, nifty seats and brembos etc.
GT-E 330kw V8 low profile b/k no bulge/eyes, luxury interior, brembos, 19" wheels
F6-H 350kw T6, bulge, shaker, stripes, nostrals, side scoops, eyes, LED bling, big wing, unique colour, brembos, 20" 295 rears 265 fronts
GT-H 360kw V8 bulge, shaker, stripes, nostrals, side scoops, eyes, LED bling, big wing, unique colour, brembos, 20" 295 rears 265 front

In all magazine tests the F6-H and GT-H were found to do an identical 0-400m and 0-100km/h etc. The bling of the -H models is as "wonderful" as the new HSV GTS so you WILL get noticed.

You are lucky in that you can afford to buy any one you want but you have to actually drive it as it will be your only car which means your wife/gf/husband/bf/whatever will have to drive it too in all the same places you drive now.

So which one do you choose?

Flappist, in the poll the GT-H is 350 KW, whereas in your OP it is 360KW.

Come on man we need specifics for hypotheticals!

Picking a HSV is probably going to be easier.................They only use half the alphabet.

GT-H...whatever that means.

Are we talking "hypothetically" that you aren't allowed to make any aftermarket modifications for warranty reasons, or remove any of the trinketry?

GT-E.
I like a low-profile look, since I really have nothing to brag about :P

I'd look at a Grange. There's no equivalent in FPV.I'm liking the idea of big boats and the Fairlane G220 is gone.
Two mates -one had a Grange-now a GTS,the other still has one.

The fastest, best handling stock one, warranty means something to me.....but calling the new range...FU, that would be funny.

Cheers Mick

I would have the biggest baddest mother of them all, if I could afford it. GT-H all the way!

Yep, i believe barring a massive revival this may be the last one...
There symply is no case for it over the senator.
But i digress.... GT-E has both covered!!

Yes you can mod it or whatever you like. The main thrust of this is subtle (-E), mild (GS), wild (GT/F6/GTP), crazy uber-bling v8 supercar (-H).

And this is hypothetical, I have no idea what FPV are really up to....

GT-P for me....saying an unlimited budget makes it difficult (as a hypothetical) Of course people will go for the biggest, baddest, fastest if money wasn't an issue. Then they'd bring it home and park it in there hanger next to all the other cars they've bought 'coz they could' :p

I like the look of the current range, I dont want huge wings or holes in guards to make it look like while im in the shops, the cars out robbing banks.

Though tear drop headlights please!

Even though I could have any of them, I'd take the GS and spend the extra cash on mods.

Yea its still listed on LS1 forum E2 release......... but ...........if its time is up.
That big back seat(leg room) is pretty cool if you've ever sat in one.....and they're a very nice thing to drive.

I see a Senator(no not a Grange) almost daily in Charcoal metallic with big black centre after market rims and loud quad exhaust-quite a head turner.

Not sure but I think-the Grange,( and Senator too) have something the GT-E doesn't quite have ;especially in charcoal or black-and I can't quite put my finger on it.

At a stretch-maybe some more psuedo-Euro type cred- like a big Bimmer or Benz?

.........now I'll cop some flack :togo:

Can you chuck in two more?

1. XR8 by FPV (with the same spec's as a GS)
2. GT-HO (with the same spec's as a GT-H)

We'll see what value's in a name then!

I wouldn't go for the GT-H for it has the right there everyone knows its there style.

I would go the GT-E for the more subtle, not sure what it is until its opened up.
