Default Good-bye XR8, welcome T3 TE50

Hi all.
I don't post here a great deal anymore but regularly pop in for a look.
As the title suggests the XR8 will be leaving our care next Saturday only to be replaced by a T3 TE50 in blueprint.
In the five years we have had the XR we have only had two minor issues being harmonic balancer & pwr steering line.
It will be sad to see her go as she was probably the best ford we have owned.
Most of you have seen the car or have looked in on the build thread.

We have traded her in but if someone is interested in her before next week i can arrange with the dealer to change the contract.
If anyone is interested, i will accept offers between 11 & 12k.
I believe this to be a reasonable price for a car in this condition.
The valuer at the car yard passed comment on how well maintained & presented the car was.

Please do not degenerate this thread into a "what's it worth" as i am not interested.
Just thought i would offer the opportunity to fellow members first.

A link to the build thread;

Oh so you're one of "them" now Pinky lol. Nice pick up but we need more details!

It'll be sad to see the XR go but when you are jumping to a T3 the pain will be ended quickly. 11-12k knowing your XR is a bloody fair price.

Yeah but neither do any of the guys in there?! ::

Congratulations on the pickup. Was reading an old Motor Mag last night which had the article about 'Big Shirtless Rod' (a TE they had a lend of) in it. Definitely a car I wouldnt mind having in the shed.
