Doesnt appear stealing the XT was their main objective, just a way to carry all the goods away, so there is a good chance it will be found.
Don't know in what condition though......rotten mongrels

Ditto for that.. And i think some people do become a little naive about leaving car key's etc lying around for scumbag's grubby little finger's..

Some still prefer to learn the hard way, rather than from others' mistakes.
Still, he doesnt deserve to have it stolen. I'll be on the look out for it.

it pretty sad nowadays when u cant even leave your car in ya shed without someone knocking it of (and using it as a getta way car)when your house gets dun over the first thing insurance companies ask is ,did you have a trailer and where is it,cause the theiven barstools load your stuff in it and steal it to(personal experience when my house got dunova)many people i know either take there wheels of or dont have batteries in them to stop these idiots
they were probably drug fu**ed (no excuse tho),carma is great gets em in the end
good luck hope he gets it back,he could be lucky ( i hope so)

I wouldn't want to rely on carma, follow the US whose prison terms are much more severe for auto theft.

That is terrible, I really do feel for the owner, House done over, and the pride and joy stolen, Makes me feel sick, and I don't even have a personal connection. I only hope the car is recovered in reasonable condition.

I drove out onto Salisbury Hwy this arvo and saw it on the back of a tilt bed with a Police car following, at about 330pm.
It was heading towards Port Adelaide, I guess it was being taken for some further testing.

Could you see what sort of condition it was in?

I heard it was found and from reports no real damage. The guy was being interviewed saying his 10 year old daughter is terrified to go back home since the break ins. The guys said he wants 'blood'. As you would, poor bloke and his family!

Might not be the end of it yet.
Apparently the house was broken into last Sat morning as well when they took 2 trail bikes. At this time, they also took the keys to his FPV Super Pursuit and his Harley Davidson.
They are expecting the thieves to come back a third time to steal the SP, bike and whatever else. The actual owner of the vehicles is apparently working in WA but there is no way I could sleep or go to work if this was happenning at my house! :

On the news last night he was interviewed and said he was throwing in his mining job in Kalgoolie(sp) to come home as he doesn't wanna be away from his daughter etc.
I feel for this guy, he obviously works hard for what he has, and has put together a nice collection of toys.
Its a shame he has to give up his employment because some pathetic excuse for human kind thinks they have a right to take someone elses gear as opposed to getting off their ..... and funding it themselves.

Not that i want to paint all Harley owners with the same brush but i sooo hope this guy is a club member as these thiefs need a lesson the old fashion way. : : :

That's a dog act, I'd sit in the shed with me cars and a shotgun. Back a coupla centuries people who nicked stuff had their hands cut off; maybe we should bring that back... that's a bit extreme, but we're too soft on criminals in this country.
