As the title suggests, the knob is buggered.
Its basically stuck on blowing onto the windscreen, turning it doesnt do squat. Has a connection come loose or broken? The dial itself has packed it in or..? I did have that part of the dash off (nothing was disconnected), pretty sure i havent done anything to it though, come to think of it, its pretty hard doin anythin behind there considering there is 10 odd cm of space to work in.. :S Anyways, does anybody have any idea on whats goin on with it? btw the car is an AUII And a quick question so i dont start a new thread, Is it illegal to have red LED plate number lights?? Cheers! |

Number plate light has to be white. I had a chat about it to a police oficer. About it because I had white l.e.d blubs and they where
to blue looking.

number plate lights must be white. varies state to state, but no redlights on the front of the car as they can be mistaken for tail lights, and i think Blue and red combination are out of the question unless stationary.
in regards to the vent, when turning the selector is it easy to move or feel about the same when it was working?

the vent vacumm switch does wear , there is a small rubber valve that is sandwhiched between the 2 halves of the control, i did have mine apart, the rubber was damaged and put in backwards: , i don`t think you can buy the rubber valve(20 cents worth ) you have to buy the whole switch, take hack saw for arm and leg lol, on the other hand windscreen is the default setting , so if theres a hose off or vacumm leak somewhere vent will stay on screen.
