Default Price on injector clean

Was told $240 including new filters and seals and a bunch of whatever else the bloke said. Thoughts? Seems expensive to me, I thought they just cleaned them in a special solution lol

If that includes removal of the injectors, it is cheap

According to an engine builder/tuner who comes through work there's no need under 250k's.
If I've still got the car I'll get mine done then or I may buy the new Boschs on ebay for $50 ea and stick those in.

I'm still on a budget lol I think I'd rather have the transmission serviced. I'll have to decide before I get it tuned

See if they can do a better price on Trans service and injector clean together..
I know when I was in the trade, we'd knock off a bit off each price when people were getting a couple of things done.. Can't hurt to ask....

i've herd injectors can be done for $20 each.
thats you take them out, give them to the recoditioner, put them back in.

if you used bad fuel constantly or always let your car run super low on petty i would assume there would b a lot of gunk in there. i've herd stories tho that it makes things run a bit smoother tho when you've done it tho

i've been told that factory bosch injectctors can't been serviced they can be ultra sonically cleaned but if anything is worn then toss em, once there worn they are a throw away item , i've spoken to people that have had them serviced and they were no better , the pintel and seat wear and then they leak. only a thought , im no expert , just what i've heard , cheers.

Do you have any symptoms associated with problem injectors?

Yeah mate that sounds like my car. Only problem is it's been running like that since I got the cam in, it's never been tuned properly and it's ran rich since then, fouls plugs on idle. Maybe I should take them out with a mate, how long does that generally take?

Oh and great link lol
