Default Auto Inhibitor Switch

Afternoon all,

My patience with my auto randomly going into limp home mode is wearing thin, so ill try to eliminate the simplest of causes. What does the inhibitor switch look like and what is its EXACT location on the pass. side? Is it accessable from looking down into the engine bay? Anything at all would be most appreciated.

It is directly opposite to where your selector exits the trans, you will have to access it from under the car. It is a white plastic switch with wires entering it.

no probs mate
climb under the car, see where the trans mounts to the back of the motor, and look up - the inhibitor switch is white, about as big as a monged pack of cards and sits on the passengers side of the frontish end of the transmission.
