Default muffler leak

got a leak in my muffler
can i get some of that exhaust wrap stuff to patch it up , or is that crap more for exhaust and not mufflers?

In most cases it pays to just fit another good muffler..
Fumes are bad !!!...
Having said that if it's on a flat part of muffler some silastic,thin plate and screw it over the silastic...
