Default Clearly not an FPV...

This is clearly not a FPV...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=250805390963

Dont know how these dealers expect to get away with advertising it as one...

Wrong badges, wheels, interior seats, console lid, handbrake, shifter, cluster. No bulge bonnet and not colour coded side moulds just to name a few, lol

Meh, today's FPV's have become nothing more than sticker packs. FPV don't do enough to differentiate an FPV from a garden variety falcon, unlike today's HSVs. To a non-ford enthusiast, they probably wouldnt notice or care less that it's not a genuine FPV. Even in this state, it still looks a whole lot better than a commodore/camry of that era.

Fully sic Futura 16's bro.
Really but this isn't on, can you report it somehow? Don't want some bloke buying a XT for $15k. If the dealer sold it as an XT 3V, he'd get a decent price anyway they're pretty rare. Just get rid of the bodykit and it'll be decent.

It would actually be very funny if the dealer actually thought it was an FPV and paid an FPV trade in price for it! lol

I think if anyone who was in the market for a BA GT and did NO research and even considered looking at this car, they deserve the tarted up XT V8 as their FPV!

Still it's false advertising. I think he will sell it as someone will walk in and buy it thinking they were getting the real deal. Some people do no research when buying a car just what they like and is in their price range.

I wonder if after you bought it you could take it back when you found out it was a fake.

I wonder if you bought it, and found it was fake, you could demand what was sold (a BA GT-P) was delivered to you for no extra cost. That would be good.
Say if I walk into Dick Smith, and they advertise 16Gb iPod for $100, I buy one, thinking it's 16Gb, but it's only 8Gb, they will give me the 16Gb for no extra cost. Same principle right? Is it not the law?

Isn't buyer protection laws just require a full refund? It's just good customer service if they replace the item with the advertised item?

One the plus side he is doing it with a B-series claiming to be an FPV cause they all just plastic junk.
The real crime would be if he was claiming a tarted up AU was a T-series.....

Tried to report it on ebay, their report form is a piece of junk and does not given option for a car that is being misrepresented in the ad.

I think we should all just ring him at various times until he gets sick of it and changes the add.

I just spoke with them. They are confident they checked with Ford and its genuine. I asked how many 80k cars come with wind down windows in the back.

lol I spoke with a fella who sounded interested in what I had to say and was beginning to wonder if something was up.

Just sent him a message on eBay pointing out several of the 'flaws' in the ad (politely worded).
I suggest that others do the same - weight of numbers.....?
