my SCT X3 says my Coil pack is dead (/dying) so what should i do about a replacement? fleabay, go see my parts boy friend or is there a better aftermarket one?

Is it actually playing up or just logging a code ?
I bought one from super cheap, Trade discount but cant remember how much, was a long time ago.

I was quoted $270something for a genuine coil pack when I phoned Bayford spares, but when I went in he knocked it down to $200... not sure why, but I wasn't complaining.
 Here's a howto on replacing leads (and pack) : http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11256369 . I had a lot of problems initially (as usual) but eventually got it done, added some extra tips at the end of the thread. |
