Firstly welcome mate. Plenty of good stuff in this here forum. Can be hard to get thru all the info at times. Secondly..... listing the specs of the car around here is useless without posting some pics. So I respectfully request for some pics, please.......

welcome to the forums.

a word of advice though. in future, i'd leave out the bit in bold (and anything else that isn't legal) as it will attract unwanted criticism. just a tip.

this site is a wealth of knowledge and hope you enjoy your stay.

hi winton.
I think you will find some info on your cortina in this section of the forum.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...7941&highlight
I had a couple of 4.1 TE cortinas in the eighties I used to play around with till I got married.
Yours would be the limited edition one ford sold in 1979, I think it was being sold around the same time the repco around australia trial was being run.
