Not sure if this is the right place.
But i post it on Fordforums as it seems that a lot of you guys buy stuff from america. Anyway i'm selling an rb30 block and bottom end and soemone from america is interested in buying it. They never got rb30's in america so theyre desirable for those who look at doing rb30/26's for they skylines and stuff. He seems legit and buys a fair bit of performance car stuff. Anyway does anyone know what a rough estimate or a good place to get a quote for shipping an engine to america. I've emailed a few places for quotes but if someon has a rough idea of what it cost to get an engine sent to or from america that great Thanks in advance Pub |

They are world wide, they are the freight equivelant to Iselect ect. The show all the freight companys and who charges what ect I had to send something over dimension in australia, was hesitant, but they were brilliant! A few click of the buttons and it was all done. Might be worth a look...... |

I've used them nationally and they're a fair bit cheaper then using the same quoted company if directly contacted for casual rates. |

We use a company called Geodis Wilson in my organisation who are our freight forwarder and have had nothing but success with them. They are a global company which will take care of all customs docs and other docs, plus I have used them for my own personal freight forwarding with rugs from the middle east.
I use to work for DHL and my advise is no no no!!!! If you wish I can give you a contact number who may be able to assist you with your matter.

I had a guy from netherlands ask for freight cost as well. I have given up really as i have had numerous quotes for freight domestically mainly sydney and brisbane and already got a couple of bids. In the end its too much hassle for me for so little gain if i got $100 for the motor i'd be stoked Thanks for the other offers of advice if it doesnt help me it may help someone else |
