Smile Transformers: Fall of Cybertron nation-wide, meet FALCATRON!

Well Ford fans, the moment you’ve been waiting for is now here. The developers at High Moon Studios have been working hard creating a bespoke piece of concept art showing their interpretation of the Ford XR6. Coinciding with the release of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron nation-wide, meet FALCATRON! from Ford's Facebook page.

What if Ford actually built the XR6 to look like this !!!

Looks lame in my opinion. Keep the normal look. Dress up the transformer, not the car.

Looks pretty much like it...apart from the headlights and perhaps the general shape of the grille (and the badge) what else is "Falcon" about that picture...?

If they'd done a BumbleBee and made it look like a normal Falcon which then transformed, that would be something...

I like it........ it is a bit between the new MAD MAX designs we saw at the MELBOURNE motor show & a FALCON XR8

If this is legit it will sell well as a HOT WHEELS toy, as the camaro bumblebee sold well when it came out!!!!!!!!

I hate to be the geek in this thread, but the reason the robot turns into an over the top, futuristic interpretation of an FG XR6, is that the game he's in is set on Cybertron, before the Transformers travel to Earth. So he's not technically an FG Falcon, but a 'Cybertronian Sports Car' or something.

Man I feel so nerdy, but someone had to say it.

I find it interesting that the game developer decided to add a localized character to the game, I guess in conjunction with the Facebook voting poll and other online coverage its a cheap and easy way to cross promote both their product and Ford's. This reminds me of Pixar adding a localized character to the DVD release of Cars 2 - in Australia's case we got Frosty Mark Winter bottom voicing an Aussie racing car. Other regions got other Racing stars voicing a slightly different car.

i reckon they have done great. been following it on facebook and they put a vote out for everything.. from the variant, to the name and even if it was a goodie or a badie. everyone is saying that ford should get the falcon out there and advertise a little, well i think this is a good start. yet people still find something to complain about it....

Perhaps if they made it more cybertonic rather than Mad Max-ish it would look better just imo

Think some people cant differentiate between fiction and reality. I think it looks like a great interpretation ..... and that's coming from someone who only knows Tranformer's from the movies .... and struggle with what the hell is going on in them but still enjoy them for what they are.
