Default Amazing video of true craftsmanship worth watching

Hi All,
I know this isn't really a thread on building a car but it was sent to me via email today and just had to share it with you all. Truly amazing

YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THIS CLIP, IT’S AMAZING VIDEO OF TRUE CRAFTSMANSHIP

AN OPERATIONAL V-12 DIESEL ENGINE THAT FITS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND.

This is not CNC technology; this guy made everything at home on his lathe and drill press.

Took 1220 hours (a year and a half?) to make the 261 pieces.

Note the end-loaded crankshaft into the block (like an Offy),

12 individual cylinder heads, TINY rods and pistons, dual "underhead" cams with pushrods to rockers in the heads.

And, he did break-in runs using an electric drill driving the crankshaft!

Even if you're not an engineer, you'll love this!

Very talented fella!
I don't think he needs to worry about his wife! He'll just turn up a new one on the lathe.

Amazing, Spanish bloke, Alfa Romeo should use him to make their cars?

Seen other such videos on YouTube, I do like the use of the opening Music from West Wing.

v-12 engine with compressed air injection, hand made using taditional methods:12 cm3 of displacement, the diameter of the cyllinder is 11,3 mm,the stroke of the pistons 10mm,it works with only 0,1kg/cm2.Is constructed with stainless steel, aluminum and bronze.Patelo dedicate this engine to his grandchildren:Sara,Carmen,Jose and Pablo. This engine is for education, exhibitons, etc.,that is the reason to work with compressed air, to avoid contamination. He has made the plans and all parts, except the screws. The engine is not for sale. Thanks to everybody for the comments and sorry for my bad English.

Thanks for adding that link. He has been busy makes it even more interesting. In the 1st video looked like it was running a bit rough as mentioned above. He must have tuned it up a bit in that video the coin never even budged.

As a fitter/turner I can only wish I had this guys talent and patience. Turning the crank was lathe porn.

I'd like to see a massive version of this engine powering a vintage racer. Hooohooo... yeah
