Nope. Still using it sorry. They pop up on eBay from time to time and you can get them refurbished for $400 (ish?) from here http://leatherfx.com.au

p.s. Worst idea for a thread ever, this one

I have in average 60 purchases each year over the last 10 years on Ebay. Most of it just small parts, and I recon I have saved on it, compared with local shops. Besides it is frustrating to turn up to the local parts shops and be met by 'oh we don't stock that, but can order it in for you'.. Then just as well order it myself from someone that stocks it, and pay near half. I would like to support local shops, but it takes a lot of time if I have to go many places trying to find the best deal on tools or parts that I need, and even come back to collect it some days later. Most parts stocked in Australia has been of good quality. Some of the China parts I have bought have turned out being junk. In particular some LED products, bulbs and other small electrical parts have been so poor quality that I some times haven't wanted to install it. Cheers,

I use ebay regularly for car, farm utv, books, jewelry (for wife) and other odds and sods.

The only time I had a problem was with a Canadian firm called "Wrench Monkey" I order parts and after a few days had not received any shipping confirmation. After sending a few emails and getting no replies I contacted ebay. Their customer help area was first class. They said they would attempt to contact the supplier and if they had not received any positive response in 28 days they would refund my payment in full. Twenty eight days later I got all of my funds back.

Just recently I purchased (from Victoria) a very straight and clean set of 18inch FPV alloy wheels to replace the 19inch originals that came with my car. The set was $800 for four. I changed from the 19inch to try and improve the ride and road noise.

The difference is considerable. The car is far more compliant on the bullock track called the South Gippsland Highway and road noise is far quieter. As this was an experiment I only fitted very low cost Chinese tyres (245x40x18) but they are considerably quieter and smoother than the original (245x35x19).
