Have a guess how much pressure is built up in say for example your crankshaft bearings ,
the pressure that mostly seperates moving parts so they dont rub together and destroy themselves

It'd depend on the load, oil viscosity and relative speed but somewhere in the MPa (ksi) range. There's only a minute film of oil at the point of nearest contact though.

Your bearing clearance and surface finish play a part too
It can be over 6000 PSI at the thin part of the oil wedge , oil pumps and oil pressure have nothing to do with it , they just supply oil to the area needed, the rotation of the part does the rest When you have 6 tonnes of load coming from the rod you need that pressure
