Wow... that is a beautifully rendered coupe concept!
Would be nice to see in the flesh, but will probably not happen :( Damn... those proportions are just spot on IMO...

Rubbish. So they have taken a Mustang and added a few Falcon features and suddenly it's a Falcon coupe. Utter garbage.

It will never happen simply because it won't make money.

Looks good but I can't see much of a link to a falcon hardtop. Maybe needs a concave rear window and fatter rear quarters

It's a Mustang with different lights and grill.

Looks good. Regardless of whether or not it would be built (I mean who really cares?), it is nice to have concept drawings. These drawings are done all the time by designers in their own time or by up and coming designers. I encourage more of it.
Sure it is uses a Mustang as a platform (with changes to the front and rear) but is that a bad thing? Mustang has a drop dead gorgeous silhouette.

I'm thinking Ford should just put "FALCON" badging on Mustangs it exports to Australia. Problem solved. It probably wouldn't cost more than $5 per car.

Falcon gt badging. The yanks won't have any of that though, precious bunch of fat tossers. It'd basically be a reverse VF SS to usa type thing |

I prefer to think that Ford won't be as insulting of the Australian intelligence as GM is of the US intelligence.

They should've put a Lincoln badge on it! I don't mind it, probably a bit more differentiation from the 'Stang would've made this rendering more creditable.
cheers, Maka

Very well done image!
Can't say it really works for me though. Something about the proportions just isn't quite doing it for me. I see potential though! I think I'd rather a new Mustang. |

Can't stand Fords obsession with that grill design... That's enough to stop me buying a new Ford unfortunately.

I think the proportions around the back could have been better - when I get some time I'll alter it a wee bit. The back was just a rough sketch I whipped up in 15mins.

Its got two doors...that's enough. Not everything needs to hark back to one specific model, it not a full retro design...
