Default Weird Idle

Hey people got my new powersteering rack fitted today plus shockers balljoints bushes. When i started the car and let it idle it was going up down from 600rpm-800rpm, it now idles at 800rpm, before the installation it idled spot on at 900rpm but now its fluctuating, it almost stalled when i was reversing slowly before?? any had these issues? its very strange i put injector cleaner threw it before seemed to help a bit but still idles low but smoother. Should i just turn it up half a notch??

yeah as above... try resetting the ECU... the steering rack has a pressure switch in it that afects the idle.... so when on full lock the car wont stall when loaded up...

Pedder's recently changed over the rack in the wife's car, got it home and the idle was all over the place, had a look in engine bay and found a vacuum hose hadn't been put back on. Maybe have a look around your bay?
