Default 2013 XR6 EcoLpi Luxury Pack

I have a 2013 XR6 EcoLpi Luxury pack Sedan, I bought it low K's (4000) as an ex Ford executive vehicle and have been told this is a rare model. Can anyone tell me how much truth is in this statement?

a lot of taxi mobs have stopped buying falcons, so i guess a silver service gas falcon is getting a bit rarer?

A better word for it would be 'uncommon'

Don't no about a xr6 ecolpi being that rare, but with a luxury pack, prob would make it quite rare.

No, most of Fords fleet is Ecolpi XR6's. My guess is they had some sort of contract to fill and have had to build most of them for themselves. As for it being a luxury pack yeah thats probably slightly rare.

Our 2013 XR6 LPI performs like a rocket , so much so that my wife who usually drives it has to be very careful putting her foot down - gradual is best, and of course gas economy is brilliant - my guess is that it uses similar litres of gas as petrol cars would for the same performance.

Yes, ripping car mate, sadly its probably one of the best kept secrets on the car market, if the general public new how good they actually are I'm sure they would have sold a lot more of them.

What's rare, or no existent was the advertising for them.
IMO a progression to purpose built LPG engines would have been the saviour of car manufacturing in Australia. oh and if LPG was sold at an Australian price and not hedged on what happens in the rest of the world.

Great car mate Enjoy it Petrol just jumped 14c here today

Far more powerful than previous FG Mk1 manual XR6 ute, better litres per kilometre too. This vehicle does a lot of interstate travel and on trips gets me from near Ipswich QLD to Coffs Harbour NSW for around $50. How are the Camry boys doing? It is still accelerating impressively at 170. Have found take off impressive too. ZF box helps too!

You know it, I hear how great these imported vehicles (especially Toyota) are, yet we do average of 70k per year per vehicle as we live in rural QLD with dirt roads and all...It certainly will be a sad day when Australian car manufacturing ceases. For the most part our vehicles, apart from kangaroo damage, only require regular servicing for there 250k lifespan with us.

How true, exploit the north west shelf gas fields and away we go, seems FoMoCo have done what Holden did with the one tonner in the '70s...shot the winning horse
