Guy down the road asked me along to (and I quote) " A big swap meet at Richmond"
Turns out to be the 30th All Holden day... https://allholdenday.wordpress.com/ Still there was some Ford gear there and a left hand drive Fairlane softop for sale. . Some nice car there I preferred the old stuff. Nice weather though UK Unlce Ken now makes sure he goes to All Ford day (if/when its one )

Yeah, up here in the sticks we have an annual all holden day... It is the perfect place to pick up all your Ford needs, as the holden tragics wish to get rid of all of the bits and bobs they have procured at incredibly discount rates... Just a shame it's now around $10 to get in to view around 2 dozen (on a good year) stalls... Just means your haggling skills have to be that much better.

Find the best ford bargains at holden swap meets.
Toowoomba is hardly in the sticks it's one of the largest inland towns in Australia, just over an hour from Brisbane, and hour and a half to Gold Coast, I travel that far just to get petrol or milk Living in a huge city trying to sound country

Yeah, fair enough, but try telling that to anyone living in Brisbane or the Coast... "You live WHERE???!?!???" just before they faint at the thought of the isolation.
(as for trying to sound country... Didn't say I'd always lived in such a bustling metropolis. ) |
