Some rare and interesting cars here that would make good restoration projects. A few one offs and hard to ID too.

Has anyone had any luck with finding out exactly what is available , my questions emailed to vendor's agent ? have drawn a blank . Can not tell me what models are available , pointless in going to Adelaide on a wild goose chase.

Scroll down on the first link; there is a catalogue (and they are crossing off things as they are sold and adding to the list as the ID cars):

I did see that list , unfortunately eg Lot 128 Mercedes Roundy is not sufficient to get me travelling to Adelaide - 4 cylinder versions are not worth a bumper and the 6 cylinder is the way to go - you need more information from the vendor which he doesn't want to give. Also - lot 121 Mercedes 280 SEL - need to know more about it - air suspension or ? and Lot 166 Peugeot 403 - an early one or late - makes a big difference as to whether desirable.

I'll have the Morris J van...or possibly one of the Austin A30's (my first car was an A30)...
Modernise the suspension, chuck in something peppy like an SR20 and a five speed, nice paint... Be a great little run around... By the way...if you want to see an astounding replica car they have, check out the Jag SS100 they have at the top of the page....absolutely awesome... http://finchrestorations.com.au/ss100-jaguar |
