I actually think it looks alright. I'll reserve full judgement until I see one in the flesh though!

Doesn't look too bad, I'd like to see what the back looks like.
They should do a 4 cylinder turbo option.

I cannot believe I am going to say this.....it doesn't look too bad.
It has lost the whitegood on wheels look. Still, not for me.

Just watched a video on Motor Trend about the new Camry and NASCAR, the model there has a different front end and looks a lot better.
As Stefan eluded to, the Hulk would be wetting himself (can't believe we still talk about the infamous Hulkster) |

I have never been a huge fan of Toyota styling. I thought the early Lexus LS430 and the last model of the Cressida were a pretty good effort from Toyota.

These new cars, I just don't get it. It's like the designers take an existing model, add a bunch striking features at random then insert the picture into GIMP and spam the "blend" effect button until it all mixes into one big slab of sadness.

More crap misinformation in the mainstream media. Either lack or research, or just poor assumptions.
Toyota's US Camry plant is in Kentucky. A long way from Detroit..... it's simply being debuted at the Detroit show, but hey, who cares if we mix up a few more facts right, it's only the Aussie car industry we're dissing again right? And then to go on that Toyota have been building cars in oz since 1963... in 1963 AMI we contract assembling Toyotas, but it wasn't Toyota doing it. They didn't take over AMI until years later - when all the other brands that AMI assembled either pulled out, or were bought out. A few google searches by these lazy journalists should find relevant info & dates of when things occurred....but that's obviously too hard.... too busy updating their facebook or twitter instead...... |

I think this looks alright, but am also not sold on the front grill of either type.
I quite like the interior though, I think it's a lot nicer than the Kia Stinger, although that car is nicer on the outside. |

Is it me or is the front end a call back to the Camry from two generations back? Particularly the headlights.

G'day.....It's really poignant these days that on AFF not too many cars about to come out for us to discuss are Ford..Don't get me wrong I'm a car fan and appreciate looking at the new stuff but I wish it was some really exciting Blue Oval hot blooded machines more often.. Okay , okay there is the Stang if you can wait ages and can afford one well north of $50,000 new..
Wouldn't it be awesome to see a bit special sporty Mondeo that really jumps ya'..bones a bit like a kick **** Falcon XR6T or XR8 for around 50 G's..or the Focus RS AWD firecracker..Once again though , not real easy to get one fairly easily.. As was said over on the new RWD Kia thread "COME ON FORD "... Yeah , Come on Ford...Cheers Rod.. |

Its like being stranded on an island with only men around. Eventually you're going to be all like "Well... theres only men around here, I don't have much choice now do I? I guess they look ok. They will still get the job done, and they even have a few extra 'features' than what I'm used to." Apologies, its the best analogy I could come up with for purchasing a Camry. |

It's probably because there aren't enough white goods enthusiasts on this forum.
It is a damn shame though, dropping the Aurion badge probably signifies the end of Toyota's 5-second 0-100 fwd giant slayer... :( |
