I have a MSD Electronic Ignition distributer and MDS Blaster SS coil on my Windsor 408 V8. I am wondering if I need the MDS 8920 tach adapter kit to enable tacho to run properly. I have one of the reproduction 8,000 rpm tacho's to fit an XY GT dash. Any advice please would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the tach adaptors for MSD to factory dashes in few different models , never really were very successful.
One was an XY ended up with ICE ignition because of the tach issue but the repro tach was a waste of time anyway |
