A 4-Door Ford Mustang Sedan? Dealers Just Saw It
https://www.motortrend.com/news/ford...thing-we-know/ This might be the start of what Mr Farley was going on about loving smaller cars again, compared to an Expedition it is smaller, right? Imagine it coming over in RHD with the Mustang coupe... and "Mustang-bred Falcon"

With the way these manufacturers are putting iconic names with cars the name does not resonate with, they may as well call the whole range Mustang.
Mustang SUV, Mustang pick up, etc |

Why not? It’s no different to branding other merchandise. Look at the people buying Jeep prams or Apple keep cups.

Sure and it will only cost them 4 times the budget to make one as it did for Ford Australia to make a Falcon

So it'll be a Stinger with V8 and flop just as hard.

Given the lack of competition it will probably do alright, especially in a base form for government / police etc.

24 photos, and not one of them is a 4-door Mustang.
And not sure I understand the rationale? Ok if maybe sedans were coming back into vogue, but I don't see any signs of that. Mustangs are an enthusiasts' car. Nobody is buying one to use as an Uber, or haul the kids to school.

The first photo shows a 4 door, though it could be a photoshop adding an extra door handle.

It's an Artists' Impression, and not a very good one

But don't worry, Ford will eventually get around to slapping the "Mustang" label on an F-series SUV. End of the day, people seem to love the Ranger, so I guess we should be grateful. It's better than Holden fans got from GM.
