Default Which Government body do I need?

Need some help please!

Which regularity body controls or handles complaints about vehicle manufactures altering software that might be of a safety nature specifically when the manufacturer has been given the opportunity to explain the change and has fell short of the mark.

I also would like to know how to find ADRs that govern intuitive and adaptive software programs relating to car control.

Call the depatment of fair trading. If your car has a health and safety problem then it is "not fit for its intended use" and is probably covered by the trade practices act.

Give them written notice by registered mail and get them to sign the slip via the post office.Give then 7 days to fix the problem or you will be commencing legal action.Tell them you will get it repaired elsewhere if they do not comply and sue.If the seven days elapses ,get a quote on repairs to make te defect good and go to your local court and ask to see a chamber magistrate. He will give you free advice and direct you in the right direction. What he will probably tell you is to lodge a statemant of liquidated claim. If he does not reply in 28 days you receive judgement in your favour and the sherriff then goes to his office and take his televisions .,computers and sell s them at auction.

I am pretty sure thats how it works but first talk to a chaber magistrate.

Ps I am not a laywer so dont rely on my comments.

HSE2, the issues you are talking about sound like they belong with DOTARs.

http://dynamic.dotars.gov.au/recalls/index.asp

I recommend talking to them via phone first so you can narrow down to the best reporting method.
