au falcon vs VX commodore

heya guys, just to prove ford are the best :Reverend: lol
my friend has a vx commodore and i have an au falcon s pack.. both completely stock anyways we had a race to 100( 100 is the speed limit on that road)

anyways we both left the line at the same time and my falcon after about 40 k's started absolutely ripping him.. oh well.. just proof that fords are better..lol

You dont need to. Having an obvious race on a public road is illegal anyhow, speeds reached is not relevant.
If you really want a race and proof of your win, its great to go to the drags. That way its safe, fun and when you rip the VX you have the timeslip to rub his nose in from that day on.

Your right, there is no real point (other than if your going to race, do it at the track) but this is FordForums.com.au... so we are allowed to indulge ourselves with a bit of fun every now and then wouldnt you agree?

Considering no one is actively bagging the Holden product, just having a laugh about a particular result, I see no harm.
Political correctness can sometimes go too far, this is a Ford site and we love our Fords. If the same thing doesnt happen on Holden sites I'll eat my hat.
