Default Ss Induction

The debate about these will probably never be settled and i know there are plenty of people who think they are a waste of money. But cost and alternatives aside,it would be interesting to see how many people on here have them on their cars.............are happy with them.........and noticed any improvement.I for one am happy

My brothers has a SS induction on his AU, very good big mouthed snorkel bigger than any i have seen on the market..
Problem is we recently noticed that the timing belt has worn a hole on the bottom of the snorkel rubbed against it....probably from when we stall the car at the drags...
not a good thing tho..

Default i'm happy with it

I have one on my AUII wagon, and found that goes alot better now. it revs out a bit longer between gears (AUTO). also people talk about the Tickford snorkle from Ford, ok if you want a cheap one but the hose from the mouth is no where as big as the SS Induction, and you can cut away some of the mouth at the side to make the opening bigger on the SS Induction, (which i have done). At the end of the day it's up to you if you want to spend 250-300 bucks on one. But I'm very happy with mine.

I Inherited an Aunger CAI from my Dad, it is a really large opening to which I can fit half my forearm down. it works well for me, especially when with the car idling you put your hand and the mouth and feel the air sucking in I think the bigger the better.
