If Ford could legally get a couple of turbos on the 5 litre they'd probably still find some way to lose.

Dont worry its not your fault guys the Holdens just seem to have handed the Ford's asses to them at Bathurst every year since 1998. lol
Nah just kiding fellas. I would'nt mind seeing a Turbo in it to be honest. Holden needs to develop another Turbo Commie though to compete in it. |

guuuys, there is enough angst going on in the pits about the latest in the long series of losses... lets just start getting over it. By now we should be experts at it.

Really it doesnt matter how they won the point is that they won and nothings gonna change the fact. Maybe a Ford will win next year. I honestly thought Lowndes had a great chance at winning. |

However, I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Ambrose hadn't been wiped out, but at the end of the day, that's in the realm of "what ifs", just like many other years at Bathurst. I was really hoping for Seto to win it, Lowndes was looking really good for a win before he misjudged the distance to that wall, and Ambrose wasn't really competely out of the race (given that you never know what is going to happen in a long race like Bathurst) until he was put into the wall. Oh well, bring on next years race and some officials who are prepared to punish those who blatently do the wrong thing...

Guys, ya getting ahead of yourselves it's 7 straight wins for Holden, not 8 that comes next year lol. And it was Jim Richards who mouthed the "Ya all a pack of a$$holes". The murph/ambrose incident was a TWO-sided affair, no point pointing the finger at just one, the holden driver but I wouldnt expect any less on a ford forum. In the end it was a well deserved win to Skaife, I was hoping Jason Richards (dodo racing) would snag a win. Maybe next year Ford will get up, sooner or later they have to win one.

the incident between murph and ambrose, was 2 sided, ambrose nedged murph, murph nedged back, ambrose lost, was a swoit crash though, turned the falcon into a focus , the tyre that landed on the 888 car was lucky not to hit a foot to the right, but hey, at least he had to have the beleclaver on for some warmth, LMFAO at "the fridge" one of the best bathurst's in many a year. but hey ford could win next year, if they pull there finger out and take out a few of the fast holden teams, why not put a spare tyre in the boot and then open it when skaife comes up behind? just do it with one of the teams that has no hope of wining and it would turn out great

murph's car got off alot better than ambrose's car, there was very minor damage to murph's car. so in a sense, yes he won ;)
