Default Dev 3 Query

By March i'll be ready to invest in an exhaust system and was inquiring about insurance and roadworthy etc. Probably a stupid question but the Dev 3 is roadworthy of course?? as it will not effect my insurance at all which is a relief!!

Im not really looking for a dyno time or ET at the track but really for a bit of fun and to blast off a few mates with performance holdens which do about 125-130kwrw - and of course something with a nice note;)

I am almost more than likely going to purchase a DEV 3 with a performance shift kit anything else you guys can recommend? chip etc?? anything i should tell my insurance company before i go ahead with purchasing??

Thanx in advance

Id change it to a manual, will go better, sound better and is much more fun Would probably be the same price as fitting a converter and a shift kit too.

Sorry the hijack this thread, but in relation to the Dev3 vct kit, what estimated torque increase is there over the stock advertised 370Nm?

u cant really measure it as it always changes

only way to measure is if u put the motor on a engine dyno

well i guess a dev 3 vct is around the 190-200 kw mark at the flywheel

so id say around the 400-410nm at flywheel
dont quote me this is a very very rough guess

Thats what I expected. I assume Brendan would know a bit more accurately.
