Check your compliance plate, if its an AU II then you only have a 200kw, other thing to check is the 220 engines took a different oil filter to the previous 302 W's. (Not an AFL 1 or equivalent)

The late AU2's had the 220kw engines.

Okay have picked up the car and shes a dream to drive so heres some details:
2000 AuII XR8 220kw : V8 in narooma blue(i think this is right) has 17" tickford rims, factory lowered suspension, usual xr8 kit, lights and spoiler.Inside has premium 11 speaker sound with 6cd player, momo stearing wheel, momo t-bar coupled with adaptive shift transmission and it has 90,000 clicks.

Only things to fix (touches wood) is a few small paint chips and engine bay needs a detail theres no oil just dirt.

Will post some pics soon hopefully. Does anyone know about ford clubs in WA cant seem to find any.

Look for clearly visable tickford logo cast into the throtle body. Thats one indication that its a 220 spec.
Ring FPV with your engine number and ask them what state of tune the engine is, they will give you the real answer.

I'll ring Ford and find out because the guy i am buying it off has been our mechanic and friend for 5 years and he has had it from new so i would like to think he knows what he is talking about.

As for the colour its the same as Wooshas car(see above) so if thata Galaxy Blue then thats what it is.

I'll put money on it that it's not a 220 if it's a '00 model, if you can get us a pic off the car we can tell you what colour it is.

As BJMXR stated above, regardless of the 200 220 argument it's still an awsome car.

Being a member of this great forum only has 1 disadvantage, Your back account will always be empty because of all the mods you will most likely do to your car. Most of those ideas will come from here

Enjoy your stay
