Is the product called night highlights? night lights or something similar? That blackens the lights.

Would never do it.

You can pick up a can of that spray for $18 at autobarn and d.i.y and he's asking $150. Tell him he's dreamin'.

Yeah, it voids ADR requirements on how bright the lights originally were. You cannot tint any lights on your car, except internal, Hell, you can't even remove a high mount brake light if it came from the factory like that, so if you have a wing with a brake light in it, you can't remove it, or you can get defected.

I usually dislike tinited tail lights, but those look really neat...

I believe so.... but don't hold me to it.

To my understanding, alot of ppl used to change their side indi's to clear lights with an orange bulb, and to my understading, it was illegal... but thats a tad off track... tints are illegal.

Depends on what they are like over there. I know over here and especially where I am they hate them and righly so. Yes they may look good but do you really want to be involved in an accident because someone couldn't see your brake lights? As for the side indicators I don't really see how that would be unsafe, if someone wants to point it out feel free.

yeah id say you would get picked up. even if you bought some lights like the ones i have posted id want something saying they are adr compliant just so when the cops pull you up you can save a lot of stuffing around.

thats just me though.

AU 3's came out of the factory with clear indicator with orange bulbs, so how could it be illegal. In fact most new cars now have clear ind's with orange bulbs.

You could remove a wing with a brake light in it if you then had another secondary brake light operating on your back shelf. Just the same as if you have one on the back shelf and you add a wing with one you could detach the one on the back shelf as the one on the wing is taking its place. Also by adding a wing with one it would normally block the view of the one on the back shelf.

its not illegal at all to change your side repeaters to clear providing you put an orange globe in them.

IMO tinted lights look cheap and nasty, they make the car look very old and dirty. And god knows who'd pay that much for them.. eww
