guys,
I'm in the process of removing the black fracia in my AU series1 XR8 instrutment cluster and replacing it with a blue one, The problem I have is removing the needles/ pointers on the speed, rpm etc, I would like to remove them without breaking them as they feel fragile. Are the screw on or push on any help would be great cheers.

I got scared of from doing this in my old car. When I took the needles off the temp and fuel, it buggered up the gauge....
I'm sure there is a right way and a wrong way though...

They are push on. Use a fork to get in between the needle and the facia, and prise up gently. When putting them back on, best to have the ignition on and the dash plugged in - you may have to put the needles on and off a few times to get them right again. (My speedo needle now sits at about 1km/h when off, instead of 0, but I figure that means it's always reading 1km/h high, which might just be the difference between a speeding ticket or not).
SVO347 beat me to it - by that || much

You'll find the series II blue dials will have some of the warning lights in different positions - I tried to go from blue to series I black and found the same thing.
