Default Brakes and rotors

last week in Innisfail i ran over a roofing screw (damn innisfail and cyclone larry) it took over night for me to notice my tire was flat...anyways got it fixed $15.....when i was changing my tires i notice alot of rusting going on and the front rotor was shiny really smooth is this bad? time for an upgrade?

Drive it round the corner braking several times, surface rust will be gone. If it is, great, if it isn't = bad!

If its shiney its not good(had to much heat in them or just old), rotors should be dull looking.
but these days the cost of rotors you can get a pair of DBA slots for $220-230.

Pics ... would like to see the rotors up close ... if the rotors are that shiney you can nearly see your reflection in it ... it's not good ... and will have adverse affects when braking.

How is the car braking at the moment though ... you think it feels worse than usual ... or is it stopping fine now??

ill post pics soon gotta clean the car crumbs everywhere eating while driving....anyways they look shiny and feel smoother than my paint so.....but the braking feels fine i stop but ive always used the engine to brake as well but braking feels fine....
