They look more like a limo than a sports car!

Initial drive impressions over the first 40 or so km are favourable. It turns in surprisingly well for such a lrage vehicle and thanks to the US guys we already know how to completely disable the nanny system.

Braking performance is on par with the GT-P (which is no surprise) but it's a little more refined in the way it goes about things. Clearly it is not as nimble as the GT-P in terms of ultimate roadholding but it does go like the proverbial cut cat even within the parameters of being sympathetic during the run-in period.

Cheers
Russ

Ummm... That's probably got to do with the fact that the speedo is marked in 30km incriments. Nothing else.

The speedo increments are actually a bit of a worry in Vic with 40, 50 and 70 zones dotted all over the place - these interim speeds aren't very clear.

I've not gone anywhere near using a tank of juice but the trip computer presently shows 27.7 l/100km.

Cheers

Congrates Russ on the new car, it is certainly a change from the GTP. I look forward to reading your in depth review once you've clocked up a few thousand clicks.

Temp is a little high there ... hope it's not that far up the scale all the time.
But damn ... the SRT is a damn fine machine indeed.
