Default XR6 Wagon???????

Was crusing down in dandinong yesterday and stopped at the local ford dealership to have a look at the new BF GT. I was wondering throught the yard when i came across a Maroon Station wagon XR6!!! It had light Brown interior, dash was brown as well, had all the XR triming and looked the part but it was a wagon......
Would this have been a special order from FORD or are there more of these beasts out there?

If it was a dressed up XT some one had spent a lot of money on this thing.

its a mock up. No XR wagons have been built in the B Series (or AU's) at all.. ever... period.

Would have been cool to see. I've been told that there was no XR6 wagon made so if it's not a fancy XT it must be a special order like u said. I've always thought the holden ss wagons were cool and wished ford had done a performance wagon too. Imagine a XR6T wagon.....now that would be kewl!

Yeah at Cofee ford. I had a good look through it. It was very tidy.... I think a lot of family men would buy a XR6T wagon if one was built by FORD.... Or heres food for thought what a about a FPV Wagon..... Imagine how quick you could get the kids to school in one of those lol.

Its not that hard to get the bits and build one up yourself. All you'd need would be the front bar and headlights, wheels, dash cluster and if you were actually keen on making it go like an XR, the diff and an exhaust etc.

There was a limited run of them officially with the EF, I think. A wagon variant would be nice, but knowing the way things are headed the wagon will be axed completely soon, not built up.

Brown dash and interior screams XT or Futura with XR kit. Would look nice, an XR wagon in the range would be good for those who need the space. XR8 wagon?...yeah!

Hell yeh! I'll take one of them. Saves me having to buy an SS wagon.

If you want a sporty wagon, how about the turbo territory. That should do - dump it about 4 inches, and instant wagon, with 4WD, turbo etc.

Yeah, I could dig a lowered Territory Turbo.....

It's a shame that there is an SS wagon and no XR6T and XR8 wagons......
