Ive had 2 AU XR's have rust repaired (usual AU spots, struts under bonnet etc). Just drove into a Ford service agent, they assessed it and got permission from Ford NZ. Both repairs were done with only about a month before the 5yr rust warranty ran out. Good service.

mines under the liner in the tray of the ute.
the warranty guy seemed to think that "surface" rust wasn't covered. |

Just had my wagon done. Ring 13 FORD as JC said. They will send you to the nearest Ford Dealer. They will take photos and make a report of the damage. Send it to Ford for approval, and if you get approval 99% do, the dealer will book you in and send you to thier prefered smash repairer. When I got mine back, it had an ants nest in it. Not happy.
