Default ABS/Traction control ECU

I've got a 99 AU fairmont ghia and was just wondering have many folks ever had to replace theirs or found a cheap place to recon/repair them ?

I didn't know of them, will look into it. Theres also some people here in Adelaide that do it also for a company called Petrojet Automotive Solutions but I was just wondering if folks knew of others or cheaper solutions and how many people may have had faulty units.
