Hi guys is want more power out of my VCT, if i change my cam how much more power will i get and what us involved in doing it, also what kind of cam should i get, i can get trade prices through repco

ooooo ... VCT cams ... from I keep hearing ... there isn't much you can do about it ... there hasn't been that much success with upgraded cams in this area.
Might be an idea to do the basic mods for now ... and see if an EDIT will give you the gains you are hoping for.

with a SOHC VCT engine cam choice is pretty limited. Better to concentrate on exhaust and edit mods that will easy net you 140rwkw. If you want more and have a manula then go for an edit plus wade 1521a or a JMM dev5. Both will mean you disable the VCT mechanism though. In other words more power but more peaky

thanks guys i think i might just put some extractors on her first, there is a group buy for Lukey extractors on here, what do u guys think of that brand
