it was originally $21,990, i got them down too $19,490 + 6months rego, cause that expired in 2 weeks. Not too shabby....

I'll get pics when i pick her up. Its winter white in colour. Stock std otherwise, 5 speed manual. Goes like a f**kin bullet. After driving it, makes me wonder why I bought a six :-). Oh thats right, insurance & petrol was too much b4.
What are the common probs with them? I wouldnt mind giving it a bit of a check over, but I don't know what probs the xr8's had? Is there anything in particular you guys think i should look at before signing the dotted line.....

Just make sure it's covered by stat warranty (should be 3 months warranty for cars 10 years old or less, and with less than 160,000km) so that any problems you find are fixed - it's almost as good as a new car warranty.
Plenty of mod potential in that one, that's for sure.

Just looking at that dash in the dealer photo, is that a police cluster? Doesn't look like the blue tickford one, but my knowledge of XR8's is limited so could be wrong...

if its the 3 valver they got lots of untaped potentual

yes still (as money n time permit) doing the rebuilding the zh fairlane with a clevo 400m 4v heads injected whipple blown with aode 4 speed trans to a 9" ....... we'll get there eventually just remember don't be afraid to try something new. hi all. Picked it up yesterday. Drives like a dream. Didnt have to even shift gears to get back to orange. I love the 8.
