if i undo that bolt on the thermostat will fluid come out? and can i reuse that same bolt?
also i bought the wrong one its the tickford VCT one not the non VCT one anyone want to swap?..lol

If you undo it make sure you undo it the right way. I ended up snapping the bolt off and had to get a guy to come out and get it out and it cost me around $120-$130 for the part and labour. I had too buy two new screws as well, but I am pretty sure you would be able to reuse yours.

Mine only trickled out a real little bit. Not much at all. And yes, ANTI-clockwise. Mine seemed to come easier when I turned it clockwise. Now I know why _ :

I just done it up tight, lol. Its never had anything go wrong with it, so it should be ok.

Take it back to your ford dealer and exchange it for an EF/EL one. They fit but you need a new bolt.
