arcording to news tonight 440 cars have been taken of hoons in last 3 months

That is a shyte load of paper work for the police to process that many in 3 months - is that only in Victoria.

A bet you the 440 includes stolen & recovered cars, unreg cars, dumped cars and the like

Depends if it's a repeat offence.
I think the final confiscation equals loss of vehicle ... gets sold and Police Force keep the cash.
Holding yards will be making a fortune ... and so will tow truck drivers

not sure what happens to the cars maybe there will be a big sale on ebay in a couple of weeks and i think it was only vic i better slow down abit i love my car and couldnt stand the thought of someone else owning my car
